4. LogMeIn Pro – because so many business people are now working outside of the office, it’s important that they are still able to get their files from their work computer. Both the paid and free versions of LogMeIn allow for remote access to a computer, however it is the pro version that lets you get to your work documents from your office to that of your smartphone.

5. Evernote – sometimes an idea hits you and you might not be able to get it down before you make it back to work. With Evernote, you can take down your ideas through the mobile app or you can access your thoughts, clippings, and pictures from the web or desktop app to that of your phone.
